The computational model of the cloud computing has an organic shape, it is a set of services, business models and processes, which generates new value-added components to the computer model and the company’s infrastructure.
The services that are offered in the cloud are stated below:
- Cheap cloud storage: The cloud storage explores the ability to utilize the storage that physically exists in a remote site.
- Database in the cloud: It offers the ability to use the services of a database that is hosted remotely, and sharing it with other users. The main advantage of the database in the cloud service is the low cost deployment.
- Management and governance as cloud: The on-demand service that permits to take care of and control single or multiple cloud computing services, such as time management activity, topology, resource utilization and virtualization.
- Infrastructure as a Service: It enables the availability of data center service with the ability to access computing resources remotely.
- Platform as a Service: It enables various options for developers such as application development, web interfaces, database, storage and testing of a remotely hosted platform. Some offerings allow to create enterprise applications for local use or on-demand.
- Process as a service: It acts as a remote resource that can meet many others, such as services and data, regardless whether they are hosted in the same cloud feature or remotely, in order to create business processes.
- Security in the cloud: The service utilizes the ability to offer necessary security services remotely through web.
- Software as a Service: This cloud based service has the ability to deliver access to any application over the web to users, by providing the application through a browser. Examples of SaaS are Google Docs, Gmail, Google Calendar.
- Testing as a Service: It is nothing but the capability to put your local systems to the test and you can do the same testing for systems which are hosted remotely to other places and are delivered using cloud supporting software. Note that, a cloud service should be tested locally and the testing as a service can also help in testing other cloud applications, websites and internal enterprise systems, which often requires little space for hardware and software in the company.
If you know any other services that are offered in the cloud computing environment, you are most welcome to share them with us.

Most webmasters, developers and admins are well aware of the increasing popularity of Cloud Hosting services. They are considered to be the most likely alternates to dedicated server hosting. The primary reason for such a shift of preference is due to the fact that cloud servers are fairly cheap and come with enhanced reliability. One of the leading provider in this category is Amazon due to their simple storage services (S3). These services more importantly offer robustness on top of other useful features. The only aspect where is fall short is their offering of just an interface (web) which at times seem cumbersome. Therefore, a free service named CloudBerry Explorer can prove helpful. Its a clone which is claimed to improve the operability of Amazon’s Web interface.

Basically, the CloudBerry Explorer operation is similar to an FTP client and offers an easy navigation panels in a side by side layout. With such an interface, users are capable of uploading their local data to S3 buckets. Similarly, one can downloading data from the S3 onto the local storage or transfer them directly between the S3 accounts. One more way for uploading the files and folders is via sync folders. The Cloud-Berry explorer is capable of even an automated recent file uploads to any S3 bucket and similarly it can download to you local storage. Such a unique feature can come really handy when multiple developers using different machines require updated copy of data that is hosted on Cloud hosting servers.
With the CloudBerry Explorer users have the capability of making amendments to files that are uploaded. It offers an option to edit permissions on individual levels, or one can even mass-apply the permissions to a defined set of folders. Users have been offered the capability of making changes to HTTP headers plus set default values. Hence making management of crucial settings such as cache controls more simpler.

Though, one needs to pay $40 inorder to get the Pro-version, but the basic version is still free. Since security has been a crucial aspect, one can avail an encrypted path only with the Pro version.
